Mohammad Azizur Rahman, Officer without portfolio
Aziz is a first year PhD student in Criminology. He holds a BSS (Honours) and an MSS in Sociology from Bangladesh, an MS in Regional Development Planning from Germany and the Philippines, and an MA in Criminology from the University of Toronto. He has considerable experience in teaching, research, facilitation, and planning. Aziz is presently a director of the uOttawa Graduate Students Association, and a board member of the Criminology Graduate Students Association. He has served several student, non-profit, and professional associations at home and abroad in various capacities. He has been a member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS), the Institute of Cultural Affairs International (ICAI), the SPRING International Association of Development Planners (SIADP) and the Bangladesh Society of Criminology. Aziz is very interested in contributing to CUPE 2626’s strategic plan implementation through members’ active participation and facilitative leadership.
